Dexterity 17 under 17 Fellow Anmol Kabra has won the prestigious Tata Scholarship to attend Cornell University in the US this September.
Instituted by the Tata Trust, the Scholarship sponsors five students every year to study at the prestigious Cornell University in New York. Cornell is one of the most prestigious Ivy-League colleges in the US.
Anmol Kabra, a student of Delhi Public School Patna, was the winner in “Academics” at Dexterity 17 under 17, a unique talent-hunt DexChallenge conducted in the quest to find the brightest talents in different fields in the state of Bihar. DexChallenges are innovative and skill-building platforms that identify and groom young talents in tier II and tier III cities and small towns and villages. DexChallenges in the last eight years have offered a platform to over 772,000 students in small towns and villages (in India).
DG CEO Sharad Sagar personally met Anmol and congratulated him on this feat. From his official social media handles, the CEO wrote, “Sat down with Dexterity 17 under 17 Fellow Anmol Kabra who leaves for Cornell this fall. Recipient of the Tata Scholarship, Anmol will be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the prestigious Cornell University. I've no doubts Anmol will continue to shine bright.”
During the meeting, Anmol reflected upon his journey as a Dexterity 17 under 17 Fellow post- 2014 and thanked the CEO for his advises and Dexterity’s continuous support.
